The family of Marvin Gaye just defeated Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams in court over their hit single 'Blurred Lines'. They were rewarded rewarded $7.4 million dollars for copying Gaye's 'Got To Give It Up' and the family may look to hit Williams in his pockets, again!
Marvin's daughter, Nona Gaye, told CBS News that she feels Pharrell's hit "Happy" has some resemblance to her dads "Ain't That Peculiar".
"I'm not gonna lie. I think they do sound alike," she said in a statement to CBS.
But Williams can breathe easy, for now, the family isn't considering legal action.
“We’re not in that space,” said Janis Gaye, Marvin’s ex-wife. “We’re just in the moment today and we’re satisfied.”
